Overview
Flight from Kuwait to our second stop, Kuala Lumpur, takes 8 1/2 hours.
The plan is to stay near the Petronas Towers in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Food is a fusion of the cuisines from Chinese, Indian and Indonesian that is distinctly Malaysian, and not found in the respective countries.
A key trip within Kuwait is Salmiya to see the summer house Gordon and his family stayed in 45 years ago while his dad worked nearby. The building is still there and there’s even a possibly the flat they lived in is vacant…hoping to get in to check!
