Vienna. Yes, we did Indian food in Vienna. We’ve decided we’ll include at least one Indian restaurant for every trip, so this was the pick. That said, it was only OK. We chose it for its high rating and because we wanted peshwari naan. Unfortunately, the thing we chased let us down. Seems naan in Eastern Europe is baked until very crispy, not the doughy sweet filled bread we know and love from other places. Service was good, all the food was cooked to order; it was good but not great. It didn’t really matter with the fantastic scenery, a great walk and the interesting people we met.  Started with popodums and manchurian cauliflower, chicken keema samosa, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and gun-powder potatoes.
