Vienna. Beautiful restaurant, food was very good. We had creamy vegetable soup and creamy tomato soup, delicious. But, unless you are ravenous, starters are overkill given the size of the portions. For mains, Gordon had Lammkotelett, lamb chops, with fries, truffle mayo and vegetables. Gordon rated his meal excellent, top 2 for Vienna. I had Schweinsmedallions, grilled pork medallions over vegetables and croquettes. Pork was dry but good flavor. Apple strudel and vanilla cream for dessert. Filling and cream were very good, but most strudel is served cold – we would have preferred warm. Great coffee. Not good enough to go again.
