Vienna. Another great recommendation from Steph. It was one of the few places that was packed with guests. Hard to grab a table but once we sat down you could see it was a special place. Great place to have a glass of wine or champagne, but the food! We shared 2 dishes. Original wiener schnitzel with cranberries and potato salad (slices in a slightly sweet vinegar with lamb lettuce) and veal goulash with homemade ‘nockerl’ (dumplings) and sour cream. Both were fantastic, and we rated the schnitzel the best in Vienna.
