The hotel is centrally located, more for cabs than walking, but there was still a lot to see. The heat made it a tough walk, temps well over 104F/40C, but we were determined to see the area, note the restaurants, of course, and ultimately make it to the beach. Found a great local, Taste of India, which reminded us of home, and went back there for dinner later in the evening. Thankfully there were lots of shops along the way where we ran in to grab some free flowing air conditioning! We continued our reputation as the only tourists who walk outside in the blazing mid-day sun…they may have heard about us from our exploits in Kuwait.
