We finally got to try the hidden cafe at Al Bandar, Turath Cafe. Very quiet and we had it all to ourselves. Sadly, we found it late in the trip, much less time for the fantastic pastries, including a banana creation we loved. The fresh strawberry version was also fantastic, as was the coffee. We did manage to stop eating long enough to get some work done as well. Earlier in the day, we met Khalid, the frankincense sommelier, who taught us a bit of Arabic and said we might see a few of his articles hanging in Turath. He is quite the expert, there were about 10 articles hanging!
